RIGHT NOW THE RAMS ARE A GAME UP ON THE SAINTS (WHAT????), THE GIANTS ARE 2 UP ON THE EAGLES AND SKINS (BOTH A HALF GAME BACK OF THE SAINTS), THE VIKINGS ARE SITTING PRETTY, THE LIONS ARE AT 5-4 WITH THE BUCS WHO ARE BOTH A GAME BACK OF THE EAGLES AND SKINS... NOW, I DONT THINK THE PACK OR PANTHERS ARE GOING TO MAKE RUNS... SO... WHO WILL GO? WILL THE BUCS GET EDGED OUT?

VIKINGS AND RAMS SEEM SAFE... AS DO THE GIANTS, BUT THEY STILL GOT THE SKINS AND THE RAMS...

EAGLES GET CINCI, CLEVELAND PITT TN AND THE SKINS AND CARDS, SO THEY SHOULD GET 4 OUT OF THOSE. THEY OWN THE TIE BREAK AGAINST TEH SAINTS HEAD TO HEAD...

MY WILD CARDS ARE: EAGLES (OF COURSE), SKINS (I WOULDHOPE N0T THOUGH), AND BUCS (LIONS AND SAINTS LEFT LOOKING IN)... WHAT YA THINK???

After losing to CArolina last ntie I don't think the Rams are going anywhere. They're starting to prove that they are flukes. I'm pulling for the Birds of course.

Skins are going to win the East. No flames! It is just my opinion. I don't think that the Giants will hold on to that spot.

Rams, Bucs, Vikes, Saints (oh god), Giants

I wouldn't count the Rams out just yet. Let's not forget that they are playing without the 2 guys who were 1 and 2 in the MVP voting for the entire league last year. Once Faulk and Warner are healthy(3 weeks) I think they will be right back on track. Watchout for Tampa come playoff time, however they will probably have to win in both Minnesota aand St. Louis. I will be shocked if the Titans don't make it in the AFC.

Thick what about the Raiders.
Man they are for real. I just hope St. louis loses a couple more so the Vikes can get home field through out.

RAMS WILL WALK IN EASY, 9 WINS IS GONNA GET TEAMS IN... AND THEY HAVE 7 I THINK... AND NO FAULK LAST NIGHT... I DONT THINK THE RAMS HAVE THE DEFENSE TO BEAT A TEAM WITH A GOOD D AND DECENT OFFENSE. VIKINGS AND RAMS WOULD BE A DREAM GAME... IMAGINE THE POINTS.

THEN AGAIN, I AM JUST AS HAPPY IF IT WERE THE BUCS AND BIRDS IN A 6-3 GAME.

I CANT BELIEVE NOBODY THINKS THE EAGLES CAN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS... CINCY AND CLEVELAND... THATS TWO FREE GAMES. AND I CANT WAIT TO GET THE SKINS AGAIN, AND THEN THE CARDS... OH GOD, THATS 3 WINS OF THEM 4, MAYBE 4 OF 4...

TITANS WILL GIVE THEM TROUBLE... OH, AND THEY HAVE PITT, NOT BALTIMORE... JUST AS WELL. HELL, EVEN MORE SO..

EAGLES EAGLES EAGLES

I was about to say that Thick, HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU EVEN COUNT LAST NIGHTS LOSS???????

They lost by 3 POINTS WITHOUT MARSHAL FAULK. so far Faulk has been the hands down MVP this season, Your telling me that if he was in the lineup they would of still lost??? please, Rams are still easily the best team, assuming the get Faulk back, oh yea, and Warner would help too, but Faulk is the key to victory, you can't deny that.

Obviously the Raiders are not in the NFC but I think they are one of the hottest teams now.
Mad you are right about St. Louis and the Vikes.
That would be an offensive dream game.

I want to like the Raiders, but I'd like to see them beat one more really good team before I really praise them. I like their running game and Gannon is having an MVP season. You know what's great about the NFL now? There are no dominant teams. There are an easy six teams that could win it, whereas a couple of years ago and throughout the 90's there were 2-3 teams each year. All the playoff caliber teams are one away from being mediocre. Hell, What about the Dolphins?

I can count last nights loss cause a team that has that many offensive weapons should not lose to the Carolina Panthers. So what that Warner and Faulk are hurt. Deuce is hurt in Philly, we don't blame a loss on that. What about Bruce, Azir, and Holt? They're awesome wide outs and can catch about almost any pass.
St louis' downfall is their defense or lack of defense.

AGREE!!! RAMS HAVE A TERRIBLE DEFENSE, AND I DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND IT. MAYBE CUZ THE O SCORES SO FAST AND OFTEN THE D DOESNT PLAY HARD... I DUNNO... FLETCHER IS A GOOD LB, THE CORNERS ARE YOUNG AND GOOD, BUT ON THE SMALL SIDE. D LINE IS ADEQUATE, THEY SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST AVERAGE DEFENSE, BUT MAN... THEY ALLOW A TON OF POINTS... WE WONT KNOW FOR SURE TILL PLAYOFF TIME, MAYBE THEY ARE HALF ASSING IT... MAYBE SINCE THEY ARE ALWAYS SCORING THE STATS ARE FUNKY... ITS LIKE TEAMS WITH GOOD D'S AND NO O'S... THE D LOOKS LIKE SHIT CUZ THEY ARE STUCK ON THE FIELD 35+ PER GAME SO THE STATS ARE INFLATED AGAINST THEM...

Mad you brought up a point.
The Rams corners are young but good.
Young being the key word. When they go up against the likes of a Moss or Carter what the hell are they gonna do then. I really think Minnesota has to powerful of an offense for St. Louis.

DRE BLY IS LUCKY IF HE IS 5'9" MOSS WOULD EAT HIM ALIVE... RAMS ARE GOING TO HAVE TO GO 2 DEEP THE ENTIRE GAME AND IF TEHY BLITZ, THEY DIE... STILL, SMITH IS GONNA GET SOME AGAINST THEM... THE RAMS ARE IN TROUBLE IF THAT GAME HAPPENS.

Rex, with all due respect, the Eagles Suck, they took the Coyboys to overtime and Duce Staley had one good game and 5 shitty games this season.

Ok so, the Rams lost to the Carolina Panthers by three points with their best 2 players out.

Take Culpepper and Moss away from the Vikes--they suck, a loss is because of that

Take Ricky Williams away from the Saints--They suck, a loss is because of that

Take Emmitt Smith away from the Cowboys and they will not score a single point the rest of the season.

Last night, the St. Louis downfall had alot more to do with their lack of running game rather than their defense. I'm not the smartest man in the world, but I know if you take the 2 MVP's of the leauge out of your offense, it might effect the outcome of the game.

When reffering to this loss, everyone and thier fucking mother will say However, the Rams were without the services of Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk for that game

So they have alot of weapons, just proves my point more that they are the best team in the leauge, by the way, I hate the Rams, I'm just confused on how you can call them a "fluke" after that loss.

Oh and I forgot to mention that Jeff Wilkins was the #1 ranked kicker in the leauge before he got hurt, and Stoyanavich missed 2 fieldgoals on Sunday, one from 30 yards away, so add that to the reasons why they lost. If Faulk is out for a while, then they will lose more.

DUCE HAD 5 SHITTY GAMES HUH? LETS SEE WHAT HE DID. HE MADE DEFENSES PLAY HIM AND NOT MCNABB. HE FORCED 8 MAN FRONTS ON EVERY 1ST AND 2ND DOWN THEIR WAS. HE OPENED THE PASSING GAME (WHAT LITTLE THEY HAD) AND HE HELPED THE EAGLES CONTROL THE BALL. HE DIDNT MAKE ANY BIG MISTAKES. KIND OF A ONE MAN TEAM, KEPT HIS TEAM IN IT AND THEY WERE ON TRACK WHEN HE WENT OUT AGAINST THE FALCONS.

DUCE'S NUMBERS WERE NOT GREAT, AGREED. BUT THE TEAM STARTED TO WIN, AND HE IS THE BIGGEST REASON ON THE OFFENSE SIDE. NEXT YEAR WHEN HE COMES BACK AT FULL, THE EAGLES ARE GOING TO BE A FORCE. BY THAT TIME THEY WILL HAVE ADDRESSED THE NEEDS FOR WR'S VIA DRAFT AND FA. THEY ARE SITTING PRETTY FOR A FEW YEARS... SUPERBOWL WITHIN 3, MAYBE SOONER

The Eagles do not have the explosive wide receivers or running back that St Louis does, but we do have one of the best defenses in the league. If the Birds had Bruce, Holt, and Azir we would be unbelievable. Deuce may not be the best running back in the game, but he is alot better than most give him credit for and made defenses focus on him giving McNabb room to either run himself or make passes.

I called the Rams a fluke after they won the SuperBowl b/c they came out of East Bumblefuck last year and I said it wouldn't happen again; just didn't come to the board until Apr-ish so I can see how the misinterpretation came w/ me leading you to believe I called the Rams a fluke after just the Carolina loss.

I'll give Warner some credit, but he is not the great QB that "old" (before the SB fans) and "new" (after the SB fans) Stl fans a are portraying him to be.

I GOTTA ADD, I AM HAPPY HE IS OUT RIGHT NOW, I DIDNT WANT MARINOS RECORDS BROKE BY HIM... IF HE KEEPS THIS UP FOR A FEW MORE YEARS, THEN BY ALL MEANS THROW 50 TDS... BUT I AM WILLING TO BET THEIR ARE GOING TO BE SOME RESTLESS FA WR'S TO LEAVE ST LOUIS IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS. HOLT WILL BE THE FIRST TO GO.

I think the Vikings are going all the way this year because when it comes down to it they are just a better team than St. Louis. You can back the Rams all you want and say the only reason they lost the game is because they were missing players but who really gives a fuck. Their D sucks dick. Other than that Im pulling for the Saints since I live in Louisiana.

If anyone has started to show weakness, its the vikes. They are a good football team but Dante hasnt played as well the past few games. Once the rams get marshall and kurt back they'll start dominating again, but i dont know if they can go all the way. Its neck and neck in the nfc, no clear cut team. I would still have to go with the rams though, or maybe the redskins once johnson is healthy.

GIANTS WOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE... THEY GET THE RAMS IN A FEW WEEKS, AND THAT COULD BE A PREVIEW OF THE NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME..

I KNOW, THE GIANTS ARE SICK, BUT BALL CONTROL TO KEEP AWAY FROM THE RAMS, AND THEN THEY DO HAVE A QB WHO CAN GET ON... PLUS THE D IS HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE RAMS.

First off, Duce Staley is my favorite NFL player {interesting twist eh?} If you go to the sports board, under favorite NFL players you will see that I picked him up on all 3 of my fantasy teams because he is underrated and a bad ass. After the first game against dallas when he ran for 200 yards, I thought I was set for the season, but that was the only good personal game he had. The other games, I don't remember him running for more that 50 yards. Thats why he had 5 shitty games, I don't know how or if him not running the ball helped the team, all I cared about was his own personal numbers. But I did notice that he was used as a decoy half the time, that pissed me off.
