We can get in circular arguments on whether or not this is a wasted vote all day long, but the cold, hard facts remain true. 1. Only a Libertarian (possibly Nader) will end the drug war. 2. Only a Libertarian will give equal rights to Gays while at the same time being against quotas and preferences. 3. Only a Libertarian will finally stop being the personal body guards to wealthy nations. Why vote for a lesser evil? Your vote for a Libertarian has a direct influence on the government whether you realize it or not. Change doesn't happen overnight people. We can help start the Libertarian revolution on Tuesday. We can finally take back our government from special interests and hypocrites. For the people that simply will not change the "lesser evil" logic: Check the polls in your state. If one candidate or the other is considered a lock to win, what to you have to lose???     | ||

Ubermass, Please don't insult my intelligence again. I am very aware of who Ralph Nader is and what he stands for. Regardless of his quasi-socialist philosophies, I believe he would be a better president than either of the 2 major candidates. But then again, if I had to choose between Bush and Nader I would be undecided. However, since I support Browne, this is irrelevant. | ||

did anybody see nader on "meet the press" today? i must admit i hadn't seen much of him during this campaign, i guess in great part because of his exclusion from the debates. ideologically i am against the great majority of the stuff he stands for, but i must admit i was impressed by the man's intelligence and deep knowledge of the issues, regardless of whether i disagreed with his opinions. when i listen to the two "major" candidates, i get the sense that their answers are towing the party line or at the very least scripted by their "handlers" whereas i thought that at the very least nader had definitely thought through his opinions on all of the subjects tim russert introduced. won't earn my vote...but did earn my respect. | ||

d1734--I sent in my ballot today (since I'm in college, had to do it like that...) and I voted for all the Libertarians I could...I agree, change is slow, but if enough decide it's possible, IT WILL HAPPEN!!
