I was a Hurricane fan before I went to FSU in the early 90's. Who can tell me:
1.What number did Michael Irvin wear?
2.What numbers did the linebacker trio of -Michael Barrow, Darrin Smith and Jesse Armstead wear?
3. What Cane linebacker got banned for roids in 1987?
4. Who caught the Hail Mary from Doug Flutie?
5. Who quarterbacked the '89 Championship team?

Big cane here thick. Im not sure on some of those, im only 19 so i've only been watchin football for about half my life. I think Irvin's number was somethin like 45 or something if im not mistaken, not a regular wide receiver number. And the qb in 89 was Craig Erickson if im not mistaken. dont know about the others, was too busy playin with gi joes

Close, Irvin was 47. Here a couple from your generation:
1. Warren Sapps number?
2. Name the 2 qbs that succeeded Gino Toretta?
3. Who is the Canes career leader in tackles?

hmmm. Sapps number. I would thinkin 98 or 95, those are complete guesses. Followed Toretta? I think it was something Costa, forgot his first name, then Todd (not sure of that first name either) Collins. Leader in tackles would be Ray Lewis i believe

Good on Costa, then Ryan Collins, after Luke threatened to rat them out if he did'nt start. It lasted for a few games. Sapp was 76, and he was a tight end as a freshman. Ray Lewis is correct.

Ahhh yeah, i knew his last name was collins and he just ran all over the place, wasnt that good. Yeah i remember hearing about sapp being a tight end early in his career. He put on a little weight though

Gerald Phelan caught the pass from Flutie.

Now that Miami has all their scholarships back, FSU is fucked. Miami could be guaranteed to beaqt FSU every year a while back, then Miami got in trouble, and they fell apart. But they look to be back.

Let's face it, if you were a Florida high school star, would you rather be in Miami or Tallahassee?
