Does anyone know anything about this??? My boy just bought a 2001 325CI convertible. He got the E46 Nav system. There are some rumors that claim the nav system also has a TV tuner. But is diabled on US models. Is there any truth to this??? If it is true does anyone know how to enable it???     | ||

It is illegal to have a TV in anything other than a van or Rv type vehicle. I have a GTS system in my car and I will let you in on a little secret. You can NOT get TV channels, but you can put MP3 burned CD's in and play them and if you have the direct link to the CD player (for Map and Go, StreetAtlas purposes) you can play DVD movies in it. I play DVD all the time on the way home to my mothers to give my little boy something to watch. | ||

You mean a 323 or 328 or 330 BMW. I don't think there is a 2001 325, they stopped making them in 2000. Anyway, the Euro-models might have the TV option, but it is illegal in the US to have a TV in the dash. Maybe a knowledgeable stereo store could make the conversion. ------------------ | ||

Yo diesel, That is what I thought also. He told me he ordered it in the beggining of this year and delivery was last month. No shit!!! 325CI convertible. Light blue with light blue interior. He even got the 17 rim package and the hardtop. 43000!!!! It really is a 325. Infact it is in my work's parking lot right now. It is a 2001!!! A good friend of mine has a 2000 540 6speed and he told me the same thing. But I have seen it and see it daily!!! Hey, your in Jersey, come check it out if you want. | ||

You can convert it with the right tools without a doubt, I got a 2000 3 series and have my own software for my nav system, if you know mofos who know their shit in regards to this they can do just about anything. There are 325's , the 323 are 325's, they just renamed them for 2001, I just spoke to my salesman. peace ------------------ "I'm reaching a height which you said cannot be, I'm bringing the light which you said you can't see" | ||

I guess my brothers TV is illegal...its right on the dashboard on his 2001 Lexus IS 300. You can fold it up and put it away if you get pulled over  ------------------ | ||
