Im not gonna get into anything but its time like these I pop in my "Wish You Were Here" album and "Dark Side of the Moon" something about these really make me feel better, anybody else have songs/albums that calm you like that?

When i get stressed I like to listen to a little classical music.

preferably

bach
pachabels cannon is good too.

Dave Matthews band relaxes me too, even though I am not a real big fan of most of his stuff, it is calming, when I am stressed

When I am really down, I listen to an album by Jane Siberry entitled, "When I was a Boy."
Tears me up and makes me bawl.

IF I'M EVER IN A DEPRESSED STATE OF MIND THE LAST THING I'D WANT TO LISTEN TO IS ANY OF PINK FLOYD'S SHIT, EVEN WHEN I'M IN A GREAT MOOD DRIVING AROUND AND I HEAR FLOYD ON THE RADIO THE FIRST THING I DO IS CHANGE IT TO A DIFFERENT STATION CAUSE FLOYD IS DEPRESSING TO BEGIN WITH!

It calms the hell out of me because im more pissed then depressed at most of the time, Wish You Were Here is the one song that puts "that effect" on me. Everyone has that one song and its mine, right now Im listening to Led Zeppelin though

Go find William Orbit's "Pieces in a Modern Style" .. William Orbit is one of the producers for Madonna.

On that CD there is a synth version of "Adagio for Strings" by Sam Barber..

It will be the saddest piece you have ever heard.

One of the baddest fucking songs to chill-out to is "JAIL" by DOWN. This song chills me the fuck out, and I can just sit there and listen to it over and over.

At one sad point in my life, and God do I mean it was sad, I listened to ENYA. God, I hope no one on here knows me. My EX-girlyfriend got me hooked on it, and I would listen to it at night when I went to bed. Needless to say I do not listen to this anymore because this singer/group (whatever the hell it is) reminds me of the EX and that is the last thing I need. All I know is that this shit doesn't leave this board. Hehehe

Anyway, I am mainly a Metal, Rock and Country kind of music guy.
