real interesting...I'm not sure what to really think of it to be very honest....It sounds a bit naive in the aproach to apealing to arnold....Almost as if he doesn't believe he or Reg Park to anything to help themselves.  | ||

I AGREE WITH STEVE REEVES.LOOK AT THE PHYSIQUES ON STAGE AT THE MR.0.COVER THEIR FACES AND YOU DONT KNOW WHO IS WHO.ITS NOT EVEN ABOUT JUDGING THE BEST PHYSIQUE ANYMORE.HELL,THEIR IS HARDLY ANY DISTINCTION AMONG THE COMPETITORS.ANY FOOL WITH SPONSORSHIP AND ACCESS TO THE AMOUNT OF DRUGS TAKEN IN BY IFBB COMPETITORS CAN BECOME A PRO.I FOR ONE WOULD LIKE TO SEE BODYBUILDING RETURN TO ITS GLORY DAYS WHEN A PHYSIQUE WAS BUILT WITH NONE OTHER THAN SWEAT AND COLD IRON. ------------------ HEAVEN IS THE BACKSEAT OF MY CADILLAC.

We have all said in the past at somepoint that steroids should be lega. If that is the case how could we advocate drug testing. And we actually have no idea as to whether or not the drugs used for body building will kill you (steroid wise). Granted, drugs like lasix can kill and insulin, but the vast majority of steroids even if abused won't kill you without some warning that your overdoing it. As long as the public wants the biggest freak out there, just like they want the tightest monica brant possible, there will be no drug testing. | ||

Yeah, Christopher Reeves was the second one (the movies that came out in the '80s), but there was an original, from the '50s. The black and version. Damn now I can't remember. But it is a Reeves though. | ||

I knew someone would ask that LOL. called "muscle growth factor" it's brand spanking new. injection of this substance will single out a muscle group hyperatrophy. say biceps: take a shot and bam, biceps only respond. It's fucked up, but it's being tested as we speak. don't know where any research is, read an article in men's fitness about it. try yahoo.com, or metacrawler.com | ||

Arnold did drug test his 1990 show, and it just didn't fly. This was the one where Shawn Ray won and then tested pos for Winstrol. The easiest way to make the sport healthier would be to shift the judging standards towards more aesthetic physiques. Even without taking health into account, this needs to be done. The last Olympia was a joke...Ronnie Coleman was huge, but most will agree that he did not really look like a Human Being should. If Levrone and Ray had had been awarded 1-2, the next year everyone would back off on the dosages and stop trying to look like apes. | ||

This is all asuming the letter is even real! I doubt it is. Im sure everyone knows that that site is NOT the actual MuscleMag site, right? Its sounds a whole lot like bullshit to me... and the ONLY source to pick up this story is an online site that is already feeling its share of controversy, not just over the fact that it rushed to buy rights to the "MuscleMag" name before MuscleMag International (magazine) could... I dunno.... |
