Tummy Tuck.

loose skin that hasn't gone away. It has been over a year since my diet ended. I hate the fact that I have to do it but there is no other way... trust me, I've tried everything.

Good luck man.

Try to keep it in the back of your mind.

I had reconstructive surgery on my nose last year, going into it I was really nervous but it was not that bad. I was pent up in my bed for 12 days but I had two bottles full of painkillers and my family took care of me.

Better living through science...

Don't make it worse by worrying about it. Most of your fear is mental, just think through it, through the entire procedure and how it will go. You'll be fine. Go see a movie or something.

I was nervous when I went through a surgery earlier this year. It was well worth it.
Good luck to you!

I went in for shoulder surgery last October. It took me about 3 months to rehab.
I was on many perks to get me through the pain.

Good Luck Puc!

Have them put in a little muscle while they're screwing around in there!
Good Luck.
What is the recovery period for something like that?

Puc I'm sure everything will be fine. That sounds like a pretty simple procedure.

What is the cost of something like that.

How much does your insurance pick up?

When I had my nose reconstructed Insurance ended up picking up 60 percent. The surgery was nine grand.

Thats not that bad.

On my nose surgery there was some cosmetic work b/c I had two calcium growths on my nose from where it was broke so I had to cover that plus my deductable.

They will let you train abs in about 2 to 3 weeks?

Ummmmm, are we talking abdominoplasty here? Because the surgery is between 4 to 5 hours, they remove loose skin and permanently suture your abdominal wall. This is NOT a simple procedure. It is a major deal. Not trying to scare you, just stating a fact. The pain will be PRETTY BAD, but that is why they make demorol and percocet! I wasn't allowed to even lift my baby (8 months old at the time) for a SOLID MONTH! My younger sister had to move in and help me out for several weeks.

The good news....it was THE BEST 7G$ I ever spent!....and I didn't regret it for a millisecond. You go out with a foot of loose skin hanging to your knees and your abs seperated to the point where you could bury your index finger to the second knuckle and you wake up with a BEYOND AMAZING result!

If you have any questions, email me.

YOU GO!

bikinihotmom...

Yup. Same thing. I think mine will be less drastic than yours was and the recovery will therefore be less. After all, I didn't have the four children thing going on, so my abdomainal wall is strong. Most of the modifications will be made to the skin and fatty deposit.

My doc told me I would be free to do whatever a month after surgery, and during the first week I will likely not be able to stand upright...
