Does anyone know where I can find some information on the internet about applying to the United States Naval Academy. I have some brochures but I need more. My recruiter just wants me to join the Navy but I want to go to the academy. Please help! I've been looking for a while and can't find anything. Thanks guys! Much love! ------------------     | ||

Ok....I found the admissions page! WOOHOO! GO ME! Any other helpfull sites would be greatly appreciated! Does anyone havey any experience applying to a military academy? | ||

What are your grades like? what are you ranked in your class and out of how many? what are your ASVAB scores? Do you play any sports and have you competted at any high level events, ex: State, National, international...Do you speak any languages other then English? If so how many and how fluent are you? Those are a few questions my friends had to answer during their application time, Oh and you better right to your Congressman and Senators in Washington that represent your state cause your going to need their recomendations as well as any other academy Grads you might know....I have friends that go to the Airforce, Naval, Army, and Coast guard acads and they all had a pretty hard time getting in, some of them are athletes that compete for those schools... | ||

My grades are pretty good. I get A's and B's and make honor roll. Don't know my rank yet. I'll find out next week after we get our report cards. Didn't do ASVAB yet but I'm very athletic. I play basketball and do field events in track and play tennis and volleyball and softball. I took a semester and a half of spanish so I have to take one more semester to qualify. I'm working on the Congressmen and Senators. Anything else? |
