Im hurting from debt right now because my credit card company is calling, I ran out of money and bounced a few checks, and I got a loan for 2k that I can never pay down because of the high interest. This may not seem like a lot, but I work part time and go to school, so I dont have any extra money lying around. Basically does anyone know of any loopholes or credit tricks to postpone any of this or maybe even erase it? Thanks bros

If you have more than one credit card, just transfer the balance back and forth each month or better yet use the checks they give you from one card and pay the bill in full with it on the other. This looks good to the company because you are paid in full. I did this for awhile and they increased my credit limit. You ought to try and pay some of it out of your pocket though if you can.

search the internet for "credit counseling", they can help eliminate your interest on the loan.

If you call your credit car compnay directly and tell them whats up they are very good about it. They will lower your min. or delay payments for a while. Give a sob story, but t doesnt really matter, all you have to do is call them and ask for a long time of grace period, they wont meet it but htey will give you alot of room.

People get in trouble with credit card companies by trying to dodge them, thats what gets them on your back, you can call them every month and work something out and they wont get at you, but miss a couple payments and watch the charges grow.

I was in same boat and tryed to get the card
co's to reduce the interest........they said
that I was current with my bills and didn't
qualify for a hardship reduction in interest
or credit counceling servinces till I was
deliquint. (3 months late)

So I didn't pay for a couple months and called and asked for a reduction in interest.
They said I was late and didn't qualify for
a good customer interest reduction.......
and kept trying to steer me into credit counceling (you pay a part of the bill and
still get a derogatory report) The credit card co's and credit councelors are "working
together".

Throw every spare $ at the accounts or go to credit
counciling or bankrupty ----to delay is slow death.....I know.

Try going to the bank and consolidating your debt into one payment; hence, paying off all your other debts and just making one payment to the bank. If this does not work try credit counselling it is probably your best bet. I appreciate your situation, brother, I've been there myself. Good Luck!

consolidate your debts to pay minimal interest rates, and just work it off

or

get a really good friend to help you out!

You go to school?? Hello student loan!! (I'm assuming college or something of that nature. Take out a SMALL student loan, pay off your cards, then start saving for the time when you have to pay your loan. Just don't take a loan for more than you need, I owe about 30,000. Feel better??

Here's a hint, GET A JOB bro!!!

when i graduated from college, i was $48,000 in debt and had claimed bankrupcy!!! 2 1/2 year later, Im debt free and have $60,000 in the bank!!! Man, you have to curtail your spending habits, come clean with your parents and maybe they will help you out of debt. My parents paid off all of mine so i was blessed, luckily i got a great paying tax free job overseas and was able to pay them back with interest. Dont let this get out of hand....bad credit will fuck you in the long run!!! Im getting married in june and luckily my fiancee is loaded otherwise with my bankrupcy(even though i paid them back, its still on my record for 3 more years) i wouldnt be able to get a house loan. So Be smart bro....if your parents can help...ask them!!!

Not trying to get him more spending credit, it just increases his credit rating too. It works, trust me.

My mom is a finacial advisor, and I got into the same mess.
She helped me consolidate (I had 10Gs in the hole) and I took a second job, had to move back in with her and I paid it off in a year.

I was fine until I got a BF that can't manage to keep a job much less make enough money to support himself. Had to lay the smacketh down recently..pay up or GTFO.
Paying off the second debt slowly but surely!

I think Primerica has a decent credit counselling division. Best of luck.

Dave this has nothing to do with DIGNATY, have you thought about the consequences of haveing fucked up credit?? I didnt until it was too late...and you know...although i make $75 grand a year tax free, i couldnt even get a $15,000 car loan without a co-signer. So dont give me the high and mighty dignaty shit. Bro claiming bank rupcy was the worse thing i could ever have done, and i regret the hell out or it...but dont let this credit problem get out of hand! all im saying is get help and dont be to proud to ask for help...i waited till it was too late!!

It's easy, just find a rich chick and be a toy boy. Or even better find a few and spend all their money!

hey dave, by the way...i make my own money and will pay for my own house....i just said if it wasnt for my girl having a good job and good credit.....i would end up renting the rest of my life...because no bank is gonna give a $100K-$200K house loan to someone with bad credit! I wasnt trying to bust your ballz bro.....so dont get mad at me, i just dont think you know the seriousness of a bad credit rating. how old are you by the way...my credit downfall started my freshman year....it sure was easy to get those credit cards, now isnt it..lol
