LEAF I NEVER GO BY THE EXPIRATION DATE. ONCE YOU CAN SEE OR TASTE A DIFFERENCE THATS WHEN ITS TIME TO THROW OUT. THEY NORMALLY USE THAT DATE TO GO BY SALE OF THE PRODUCT NOT ACTUALLY FOR CONSUMPTION...ZEUS13

Sour milk won't hurt you, I throw mine out only if it gets lumpy. I always have 7 galons in the fridge, somethimes it gets a little ripe. If you can get past the taste, no prob.

It's usually good for a week to ten days after the expiration date, but always smell first.
