I find myself sleeping 6-7 hrs at night and then taking a power nap before I train that is 2-3 hours long. I would sleep more if I could, but there's only so many hours in a day.

Is this average?

Hi Max,
I sleep about 7 to 9 hrs.
I think your body knows what it needs.
If you feel tired when you get up, you may need a little more.
It depends on your age! The older you get the less sleep you need.
And I think the harder you workout the more sleep you need.

I like your Bug ( I have A Real Burgundy one that looks just like that!!!!!)

Depends on your age. If you are between the ages of 12 - 20 7 to 12 hrs isn't uncommon since you are still growing and growth spurts occur during sleep. If you are over this age then you must be working out like a mofo! The older you get, the lower your sleep requirement becomes.

I am 21 and I'm lucky to get 4 hours a night M-F. Sometimes I get a chance to take an hour nap before I lift. I know I'm not getting nearly enough sleep but theres just not enough hours in the day for me after working and training.

MAXOUT - gosh, you're lucky. I don't when I've seen 6-7 hrs/night AND a 2-3 hr. power nap prior to training. No, just kidding, I usually catch up on my sleep on Saturdays & sometimes Sun. afternoons. However, as hard as I train, I don't think I ever fully get rested.

I'm 25 and I need at least 9-10 hours. If I don't get this than I'm one stroppy fucker. Saying this, I'm always up every 4-5 hours to eat.

I get about 7 hours a night, but usually wake up a few times to pee and for water. I take naps before going to the gym if the damn phone doesn't keep me up.

I need 9 hours per night. I usually get between 6 and 7. Now that I'm doing the wight gainers and MRPs, I'm getting up to pee in the night.
