this past tuesday while playing intromural(sp) flag football i landed on my heel and my knee bent sideways. I heard a pop in it and so did another girl. This past semester I had torn my acl which ended my college baseball career and had to have arthoscope surgery. But now again (tuesday) I tore all the cartilage in the same knee. I have to have reconstructive surgery in October. This really sucks now I will be on crutches probably until Dec. and I was just about to get on a good bulking cycle...lol this sucks

Man...that must be so frustrating. I *slightly* irritated my back which put me out for about a week and really made me realize how lost I'd be without bodybuilding. Good luck my friend.

Damn bro that really sucks, It seems like people always get hurt in meaningless flag football games, pick up b-ball games, guess thats just the chance you take, I just started my F-Football season, now you got me thinking, sorry to hear that.

Body-1. I've been where you are. Just because you are having surgery and are going to be on crutches for a while does not mean you can not work out.

The Docs will tell you to rest because that promotes healing. Very true. I for one, would rather take an extra week to heal and keep on trucking than lay off for 6 weeks.

Think of all the upper body stuff you do and go with that for the time being. Use the machines if you don't want anyone helping you with loading and unloading plates.

Plus those crutches if you use them with an extended stride this will cut your tries up pretty good and help your shoulder development. There is always a way to work out dude.

Just some suggestions bud.

Sorry bro.

Remember when it comes time to rehab, don't half ass it.

People say that afetr surgery you're never the same, but often it's because they don't rehab properly.

1-body - Good luck to you. Like 20.4 said, you can still work out your upper body. Keep us informed on your progress!
