who agrees or disagrees with the death penalty? i personally believe that it is not used enough and that criminals receive too damn many court appeals. it is ridiculous that these killers are kept alive for 20 or more years. so what does everyone think     | ||

Criminals - eat shit and die. "The death penalty does not deter criminals from committing crimes!" That's not the point of it. Death penalty = 1 less criminal to commit crimes. =) Give him a year to appeal and then put a bullet in his head. Formal executions are expensive... bullets are dirt cheap. =) -Warik | ||

well i sure as hell would pull that swithch, and without a thought. they deserve what they get. people in this country seem to be worried more about the criminals rights than the perosn that they killed. pathetic weapon x...that is a great point. most people who are pro-abortion do not agree with the death penalty. what hipocrits. | ||

I would not call a murdering bastard defensless, that bitch, went out and thought nothing about raping a 14 year old girl repeatedly, torturing her and then killing her and I am supposed to have compassion for this puke? Give me a fucking break! Let's wake up and smell the coffee boys and girls, these individuals are not wire correctly and no amount of therapy, surgery or confinement will make them worth keeping around at my expense. If these little fucks want to go out and kill someone for 20 bucks, like in Wichita, where they shot the clerk execution style then all involved no matter how old should be destroyed. I'm 100% for death penalty like you. I can't stand criminals getting away with violent crimes ! I sure pay a big price to be a dawn Canadian. Here if you kill someone and say that you had problems in your childhood, they try to educate you and you'll have few years of jail only.. WTF ?!? FRY THEM ! Fuck using sterilized needles and expensive shit for lethal injections. Every state should be issued one needle(to be repeatedly used. Who cares what diseases are on it, the criminals won't be alive much longer), fill it with laundry bleach, squirt squirt, then 1 less piece of shit. I belive in it just for the fact it takes one more person that doesn't deserve to live off this planet...and yes I do believe that we can determine who should live and who shouldnt... It's very simple, if Society considers a crime to be so horific in most cases murder, and rape then so be it...I think we could all do a little better then to spend money on the bullets and lethal injections...Lets just get a bucket of water and use it for them all...It's still more abundant and cheaper I'm sure. I don't think ANY CRIMINAL should have protected rights except for being beaten to death. I don't feel they should have the right to sit in a jail till they are released or given a library to waste "Societys'" time and money so they can research for more BS arguments to send courts in a wasted defense unless they can physically prove of a wrongdoing...Make them Work if they want those 3 good meals a day then make them work from sunup to sundown unless they have a LEGIT medical problem stopping them such as having to live in a hospital bed. For all intensive purposes if they can do all that and still have the energy to search the law books let them do it before they go to sleep. I think criminals should REALLY HAVE to pay back SOCIETY by doing something Productive that contributes to the SOCIETY...and NO I don't believe they should get paid to do it...Call it slave labor call it what you want...But if you are convicted of a crime and put in jail, I don't think you should have rights until your debt to society is paid and SERVED...After you get out thats another matter...I still can't understand what purpose it serves to take away voting rights to the criminals even if it is for a short time... Also if a state deems it necessary for a Convicted Sex Offender to be released into society wether on parol or time served why release them if you are going to interfere with how that person lives for the rest of their life by making them register and post signs all over their homes...This seems to be saying that they could never repay their debt...Why let them live if you want them to pay this debt for the rest of their life outside of jail?? | ||

I believe in the death penalty for homicide cases where there is absolute proof. Absolute proof I mean DNA evidence or camera footage. Beyond a reasonable doubt should not be enough to warrant excution, but if there is absolute proof then forget the appeals and dispense justice. To Moe Dank: It is worth pointing out that right now it is signifcantly more expensive to execute a criminal than to house him in prison, even if he stayed there for 100 years. This is because most of the legal fees used for their defense are funded by the state. Matt | ||

The only problem with the death penalty is the question of who you trust to implement it. Do you trust the government that murdered those folks in Waco? Nope. |
