There are many influences whether environmental, cultural, traditional, family, friends, literature and observational. These influences kind of sort of shape and mold the person you are today with the main exception of Self Control and Self will to think and act properly no matter what the influence may be. Knowing this how can any of you actually Vote for any of these candidates. Let me break this shit down for you: First both sides(dem and repub)and others are ALL and I will repeat ALL full of shit and dirty liars. Theres post on here all the time about this candidate or that candidate, well both of them are full of shit and are only out for themselves, no candidate is suited to actually represent me and especially the country, if your running for the presidency of a country then you are also running for the people of whom you represent and none of these fuckers come close to what I represent which is the effort to speak the truth in all I say and do. So remember this folks when you vote , you are voting and backing a liar who speaks mostly about shit that isnt going to occur and if it does wont have a paradoxal impact on a damn thing, if you vote this says alot about your character as well, it says you agree with the lies and illusions, your voting for a false hood, your voting for mischief, the funniest thing I have seen in a while is these poor bastards who are actually at these conventions with the American Flag clapping like a young sheep led to the mental slaughter they have already sucumbed to, the people at these conventions and such are both the funniest and most weakminded mofos I have seen in a while, its sad actually. All have been brainwashed by the govt. So now you think to yourself "I should vote, its not right to not vote", bullshit, you were taught and made to believe that not voting is bad, there is nothing wrong with saying no to voting, remember if you do vote your basically voting for the lesser of the two evils, well I dont vote for any type of negativity and hopefully this will reach at least one person on here. Why vote for a lie? Is that what your character represents? Hav, You make a very solid argument for not voting for any of the candidates that are currently running for office. Originally I was a John McCane supporter since he seemed to be the one candidate who walked his talk. Since then I have been less than interested in either candidate and what this sad excuse for an election will boiled down to is which party really wants the power to govern the most. Since they are both wolves cut from the same cloth it makes no since to vote for either of them. Unless their is a candidate to come along that wants to break up the centralized banking system in this country either parties candidate will always be a money whore bottom line bro. ------------------ | ||

Havoc. I agree with you. But, instead of complaining, why don't you just run for an office? That is what the founders intended to be done if you couldn't find an adequate candidate. That or find someone better suited and convince them to run. My point is, the system isn't broken, the populace is just to lazy to reform it (I am a shining example of that sloth). If you give a shit, you should work on teh local level, where the efforts of an individual make the most difference. Lobby for local candidates who make sesne to you. I believe taht we should all make every effort to get Libertarian Judges, Councilmen, Schoolboards, Sheriffs, etc. elected for all "lower" local offices, to get individual liberty implemented on an unprecendented level. From here, move on to higher offices, with the support of the officials you have helped to get elected at the local level. Only voting or lobbying for President is like only being a parent after your kid turns 18, it's a little late to make any meaningful impact. | ||

Shagwell its actually the opposite, not voting for me means I do believe in something, this something happens to be the TRUTH , the fact that you mentioned you vote for the one you dislike the least says alot about you and your character. I cant vote for something that I dont believe in. I think it's awfully superior of anyone to sit back from the entire electoral process and sit on their while deriding the rest of the people as "sheep." If you take no action, you are worse than a sheep. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. What would happen if every AS user lobbied and voted for the cause? Or every pot smoker? At the local level, then higher, and higher? To sit back and complain reminds me of Siskel & Ebert, neither of whom ever made a good movie, just criticised the films of others. | ||

I was watching cspan. Yes, CSPAN dammit! And Micheal Moore was on the podium at a Nadar convention and he stated that 100 congressional seats are running unoppossed! Havoc....not trying to throw down with you...you call my advice shitty, then say how you have opinions that you want to standup for ...yet you choose no action. How does not voting reveal any of the things you mentioned you stand for? How does not voting show you stand for TRUTH? Doing nothing ...reveals exactly that ...NOTHING. I just get annoyed listening to people complain about politicians then say they don't vote or don't do anything. Its like those poeple who complain about being fat, yet sit on their ass and do nothing. If you got a problem with soemthing, then do something about it. As far as locally I have done my share in what I believe will make a difference and have helped many people out in the process, I have given many a speech on certain subjects and have succeeded,in my opinion there will never be a candidate of whom I vote for, the only person that represents me totally is my God and Faith. Tyler Durden, your response to my religion posts is your opinion and perogative at the same time, I cant change anyone who doesnt want to change and I damn sure will not change my outlook on certain issues either, see I back my shit up with facts and truth, when mofos are in doubt I will post the facts or lead you to them whether the topic is marijuana, religion or other. Any religion or marijuana post I have ever posted always had a link or some actual and true fact to clarify for the dip shits and brainwashed out there. Part of the negative responses is because you feel offended because you fall into the category. Please do no insult yourself further by responding to our incoherent ramblings......BUT just a question.....humor my ignorance.....being a biology major, there sure is a lot of "Facts" for theory of evolution. Most religions are based on faith. Sure you can find religous articles (i.e. "facts") that would support your religion as well as Jewdiasm, Catholic, Christiam, Hindu, Buddiusm....the list goes on. You give me a religion, I can find enough "facts" on it as any other religion. The only true "facts" are just that facts. What an individual derives from that is a hypothesis. And that is what all religions are hypothesis. They become fact only to those who have faith in it. ------------------ | ||

Republicans and Democrats stay in power because 60% of this country does not vote. If the silent majority actually got off their asses (Havoc) and supported third party canadites we would be able to break the two party strangle hold. BTW, everyone chooses for the lesser of evils when they vote. If you had to agree with every last word a candidate said in order to vote no one would! The problem this country has is not the politicians, its the people who are to lazy to vote them out! People who are not involved in the Democratic process have no right to complain about the outcome of it! | ||

My initial post is basically saying "why vote" (I am speaking of the Presidential Election not neighborhoods , districts etc etc). Facts to back up that these Candidates(for presidency)are liars, you dont need facts for that , an IQ of 1 and common sense can give you that info, if you want go to page 2 or 3 of the topic lists on the Chat forum, you will find a load of shit that Dirk Diggler and others posted on Gore, Bush and others, again as far as locally myself and some affiliates of mine go twice a month to certain meetings and orginization to do what we can and let our voice be heard and like I said we have succeeded, also I do alot of volunteer activities with youths as well. This doesnt need to get out of hand, my mind wont be changed and vice versa so do what you got to do. ------------------ | ||

Mr. T- I pity the fool who makes assumptions, I am very active in my community but when it comes down to the candidates for the presidency I just cant be a part of that in any way, also I havent complained about anything , my life is fine. Tyler Durden-blue collar eh? Hmmm, I am a director of a corporate fitness center(sports mgmt degree, fits the job nicely), mofos pay me $50 bones a consultation(thats where the nutrition degree comes into play), averaging 4 consultations a day at the least plus salary, about to finish my masters in Philosophical approaches to world religions , 24 years old, my confidence comes from the fact that I can walk it and talk it, its a solid package physically and mentally, blessed I guess. Agent Shagwell-biology major, I believe in evolution 100%, it actually makes things come together better, science just proves my beliefs but thanks for input, it was neat. People seem to dwell on the first part and overlook the second. Do what ya please, but if 'you do nothin you'll get nothin'.
