Well, Saturday the 29th was the day! Overall I am pleased with the results. Weighed in at 204.5lbs. Thought I would be lighter as I was running about 202.5lbs all week. Must have mis-judged my sodium/water. Abs were a little smooth and the judges said that hurt my placing.
Ended up taking third place (my best ever). Again, I was pleased with this as it was my first comp as a heavy weight competitor (two previous as light-heavy...fifth place and a total blow away). I was also pleased because I was called out for drug testing. This was a natural comp and was randomly drug tested. Being asked to drug test is usually a good indication of placing in the top three.
Talked with the judges after the evening show and they said that it was very tight between me getting second or third but they ended up giving me third due to my smoother mid-section. I agree, so I couldn't bitch.

Was very tired afterwards but went out with friends and had a couple beers and burger/fries. And as is typical, was very full and tight the next morning. Better lines too! Figures! Anyway, didn't binge and didn't even feel that hungry Sunday. Weighed 209.5lbs this morning.
I will say this though....MAN AM I SORE!!!! Anyone who thinks posing isn't hard work...try it. I was breathing as if I had done a superset of high rep squats after doing mandatories and coming off stage.

I will post pictures when I get them scanned and figure out how to do it. Hopefully in the next few days.
Thanks again for all the written support on this site!

Dlady27: The comp was the 2000 Michigan Natural Ironman/Lady of Iron Bodybuilding Contest.

Fitnes1: No, no cheescake yet. I did have a beer between pre-judging and the nite show. And I did have a big a$$ cheeseburger and fries that night. Soon though, very soon!

Thanks everyone!

Conan, how exiting. That has to be very satisfying. Bet those beers afterwards tasted good - probably first really fun food you had in weeks.

Still working on getting the photos scanned. Unfortunetly they are all pretty much long shots...but hopefully they come out alright on the computer. I will put a few from '96' on there so you can see the improvement.

Pizza Man, I am not sure if they A.S. tested all 1st place finishers...it is random. But typically they hit people in the top five if not the top three. They had tested the guy that won my weight class just a month prior at another show. But, they hit him again this time too. Fine with me.
Here is the trouble with the way they drug test. It takes three weeks to get results back. Even if someone cheats and uses A.S. or diuretics...no one know except the federation and the individual know. Everyone that was at the show, even the other competitors still think he won. He supposedly has to return the trophy...but I highly doubt they are going to go to the persons house to get it.
Personally, I believe they should publish a letter to all competitors and let them know. But they won't do that because it is a "TOUCHY" subject, i.e. there might be less competitors which equals less revenues. Whatever, I will get off my soapbox now.

The guy who won my weight class was about 6'2"-6'4", and he weighed 241lbs. Actually a real nice guy, with alot of competitions under his belt. He did say that if I had been in better condition I could have taken it from him. Pretty cool, that. Now that I know I can hang with the big dogs, I will be sure to come in tighter. I will win!
The overall winner was a light-heavy...this guy was "CHISELED!". Absolutely shrink wrapped. Winning a division and winning overall is a huge difference.
