ISSA stands for international sports science association. Type this in on a search and their site will come up. They have a home study course you can do at the house.

issa is generally considered one of the better certifications.....ifpa is ok, not great, afaa is also a good one. ask your gym for some info on getting a certification, they usually get mailed a ton of info cause they get on mailing lists....

Have any of you ever done ISSA certification? I haven't heard of any gyms that hire people with their certifications. Here in Washington ACE and ACSM are the most reputable. I'm not trainer and would like to though.
