come on man, oscar spent the last half of that fight running there is no denying that. The question would be: is it smart to try and win by running away from your opponent, or beating his ass until the 12th? I dont get it with these guys..ok if your a heavyweight i could see doing a little running late in the game cuz one of those punches can put you out, but with the 140lbs? Slopain IP: Logged |

He was moving backwards not running. He worked Tito, he hit him at will. Oscar tried to prove he could box and not just brawl. So he out boxed Tito and still lost, it was BULLSHIT if they ever meet again I think he will KO Tito early, he wont play with next time. ------------------ IP: Logged |

ok here is my take: I think the judges were doing some justice. You guys remember the two fights before tito, alot of people think oscar the golden HBO boy, should have lost them (yes I do too, but I am bias I dont like his ass) But you can't deny there was drama/contreversy (sp) over those two fights. I think the judges saw that the fight was close and went against oscar, which I am positive he is not familiar with. and whats with his interviews - he has made a lot of money b/c hes a boxer - and he says shit like "what can boxing do for me? what about when I retire?" I just wish some new badass heavyweights would come up. I enjoy the lighter weight classes but damn I can't remember the last time I saw a K.O. with 2 big name fighters. Sometimes I just wish I could go back to the, pre Buster Douglass, Tyson days. Like Ray Jones Jr's last fight. He kept beating that guys ass but just couldn't knock him out. IP: Logged |

I got to meet Oscar after the 92 olympics, he was in Houston visiting George Foreman...so the story goes...Great guy As far as his fight with Trinidad 2 of the judges had charges filed with the boxing federation they were in for taking money from Don King, it wasn't indicated that it was that fight but other fights.... Trinidad=Don king fighter Conspiracy I think so He only danced around the ring the last 2 rounds, he Landed more then 2 as many punches as trinidad and beat his nose worst then it already looked.....He By all acounts had the fight one...Even the Pay perview people including George Foreman couldn't believe they gave the fight to Trinidad...Makes me think Julio Caesar Chavez must have been laughing his ass off.... Oscar outclassed him big time, why: Lucky for me I had that fight on a nice big screen with 300 plus residents in my dorms thanking me....Even though 3/4 of them were pissed about the outcome....Great fight.....Maybe a tad bit better then the first Holefield/Bowe fight Can't wait for the rematch.... Yeah Lewis smoked Grant. Tua is cool and has alot of power. I just liked it when Tyson used to destroy people every fight. Lewis is a big boy and can throw down. I've never liked him since that time a few years ago when he wouldn't fight Riddick Bowe and just kept running his mouth but would never sign. I think it was Bowe could have been Razor Ruddock though. Oscar landed a lot of punches in that Trinidad fight but they were all weak. It was like he was just making minimum contact. I think you got to look at the quality of punches and not just how many were landed. I used to like Oscar but for some reason I'm fed up with him. I like to go with the underdogs a lot of the times. I'll tell you what If I ran the show I'd have Harold Letterman be the one and only judge to score the fight. He's always been on the money and I've never seen him score with a biased opinion. Anyone know what qualifications these judges have to have? Some these judges look like they no jack about boxing. It's amazing how crooked boxing has always been and remains to be. I like to believe the sport is passed that but looking at some of these fights you have to say it's still corrupted. I thought Gollata was gonna be a contender but that guy is all screwed up in the head. IP: Logged |

Oscar is gonna win. Hes gonna take all his frustrations from the Trinidad fight out on Mosely. Sugar Shane won't know what hit him until he gets to see a replay of the fight. The only close call was the Quartey fight, that one was close even though Ike was beat shitless at the end. Trinidad, everyone knows, lost. Lennox Lewis is the luckiest fucker in boxing. He's on top because nobody worth a shit is out there. Frank Bruno was killing him and he threw a wildly lucky punch and it broke the glass jaw, he was all but fallen over when he threw it. Thats the story of his whole career. Roy Jones Jr. is the baddest man on the planet. He's a cocky fucker and he's as fast as a computer with his thinking. Like when he drilled Montel Griffen on his knees and was dq'd. He was right in drilling him. Griffen hit the knee when it was against the rules. Mosley will beat Oscars ass, bad. I think DeLaHoya is great, I even named my duck after him(Oscar Duckahoya) but he's met his match on this one. Who said there was a heavyweight division? When did that happen? The good thing about this fight is I think we will see a real fight. I don't believe there will be a lot of dancing/running. I think de la hoya knows he was too tentative in the previous fight late in the rounds so he will at least fight for the duration of the match...that said I hope Mosley breaks his golden jaw.
