AH, the sunshine state. Florida is awesome dude! Best cities are Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Daytona. Tons of Clubs. Locals get the royal treatment. Good Luck and wear SPF30! :P IP: Logged |

Romeo if you are looking to go to school then go to Orlando UCF. This town is the shit. I lived there for 2 years, before that I was in Key west and Miami, both are fun as hell, but Orlando is a great college town and you are only about a half hour from the beach. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Florida is hot and the people suck. To many old people and their parents down here. I lived in colorado for a while, Missoula Montana, Texas, now florida. Florida is a nice place to visit, but living here sucks. I am moving to either NYC or san diego. If I move to cali I will live in SD for a year until i get residentcy then move up to Chico and finish school. I have friends in souther cali and the TJ border is close, all good points. The day probation is over i am out of this place thats for sure. IP: Logged |

Scarface, I'm sorry, but Orlando is not a college town. It may have a lot of stuff to do after hours, but the towns not geared around the college like Gainesville or Tallahassee are. IP: Logged |

west palm beach! fort lauderdale! miami if u want to get shot after hourz.. south beach is bomb during the day. . south florida is beast and anyone who differz is prolly just a lil bish anyway . stick to your hogly farm women, ill take my thong beautyz, and old people there arent that bad, u can swerve em off the road pretty easy, big cadillacz are pretty fast when u chase em. . B_FUNK, Gainesville and Tallahassee are more of a college town but that is it, there is nothing more to the towns than the school,and you a lot futher from the beach. I have alot of friends in both Gainesville and Tallahassee and have partied there plenty, and I would much rather live in Orlando. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Palm Bay, FL is where I was for 3 years. It is a very nice area, not much crime, there is a night life, in Melbourne. And they have several colleges in the area, F.I.T. is a good college there. Not to mention the jobs there in that area are fantastic!!!! IP: Logged |

Goto tampa, USF was rated the number one party school, its right by the beach. Ybor city is downtown and full of clubs,fights,whores,and drugs. USF has like 25k students and the rent is pretty cheap. Fat one bedroom is like $650 ------------------ IP: Logged |

I have to say that if you are looking for a real college-feeling town then UCF might not be your #1 choice. I come from West Palm and go to UCF now. I personally love it, but it's a weird kinda deal. You basically have the college town (out by the campus) with a lot of bars, clubs, etc that are full of college kids. But then there is that whole tourist section of the city (the other Orlando) which has Disney etc etc. Daytona and Cocoa are about 45 mins away and both are nice. I love the school but I have friends that go to UF & FSU and love them. But I've lived in this state my whole life, and you'll fall in love if you come down here. Best place to live is right here in Boca Raton, great jobs, beautiful beaches, 1 hour to Miami,1/2 hour to Ft lauderdale, 20 minute flight to the Bahamas, and tons to do. Also this area has the highest per capita income in Florida. Did I mention beautiful women? IP: Logged |

Gainesville is the only palce to go. The only good thing to ever come out of Tallahassee (FSU) is Interstate-10. Orlando and North FLorida are all wanna be schools. Education is the key (I hope), UCF and USF are all too new and lack good alumni and community support to have upper level programs at this point. As for the night life, you have never partied until you leave Florida field, walk across the street and hit the Purple Porpoise ! BPP IP: Logged |

hey peeps how much start up cash do you think i would need to land myself in florida from ny.....livin in a nice one room joint ....im just curious cause i am working my way outta debt ...and if i do make the move im probably going to go in january right before the spring semester....i have a few friends who recently moved to boca..and they love it...i dont know were to begin..but hey moe is very enticing with those drugs fights and whores...we will see thanks again to all peace romeo some people call it heart IP: Logged |
