Cause I think its a myth. I've spent a lot of time in the gym and I cant ever remember meeting a honey that I ended up going out with there... Seems like gym chicks are ultra uptight mostely, or are stripper types and like to gave at lest 5 guys going for them at once... anybody with any other evidence??? IP: Logged |

 I hope I never have to train at your gym. I met my X-wife and current wife at the gym. Plus, I've dated others from the gym. Maybe it just the gym your at? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! IP: Logged |

No doubt the gym is the best place to meet girlies. You get to see them practically naked before you make a desicion, they have something in common and thier in the best shape. I think it sucks going out to clubs or bars trying to pick up. Music is usually to loud to have a conversation, the guy to girl ratio is usually 4-1 and the beer goggles can impair your judgement causing a very bad decision. IP: Logged |

Several of my girlfriends have been from the gym, it's the best place to find i girl i think. Finding a girl who's into the same things you are, eats well, trains well and takes care of herself. Pure gold! IP: Logged |

Of course everyone thinks that they will "hook-up" at the gym. I personally think it is a nuisance to meet someone while working out. After I am done and showered up is when I approach or am approached. I usually just grunt when someone approaches me mid-set. It can also lead to all kinds of problems if you date someone, breakup, and then have to see them everyday at the gym. That is just me though. Platinum IP: Logged |

Some girls might actually be checking you out but, they're playing that I dont' even know you exist game. You gotta brake the ice to see for yourself. It is kinda hard to aproach a hottie when she's playing like she's not interested and sometimes she's not, so just approach her with something simple to give her a spot or how many sets you have left on this. Well I can now post on this thread with a little humor I'm dating a girl I met from my gym right now, and all I can say is AMEN...I've seen here there since I started working out at that gym in Jan Didn't even talk to her till last tuesday and all I can say is why didn't I take the 2 min it took me to say hi and jump in on the calf raise machine sooner. This girl worksout harder then most guys there. She's not a Vicki gates but she's pretty damn fit. Everyone else is right...when you get a chance with someone from the gym, take it. Define "relationship". Ha ha - I've met a few girls at the gym and I agree it's the best place because: 1. You meet a girl that believes in taking care of herself. 2. She already is interested in your body because she doesn't know anything else about you. So if you don't really like her, well......you can still......you get the idea. Matt IP: Logged |
