We sin no matter what we do. That is why we have Christ. He died so we can party and repent through life. BTW- I only study some theology but I am not religious. | ||

I think we're using as a means to an end. I don't think jesus would use, but I'm sure he would condone usage. I think those who let roids get the better of their temper may be sinning by continuing to use them, but for those that can handle it and are careful to not do themselves physical harm with them will be rewarded on earth by having a good body and more so in heaven for having taken care of what god gave them. good point recoome, I never thought of it that way. I was raised in catholic schools and it bugged the hell out of me how almost everything we do, and even some things we don't do, is a sin. I'm not sure I believe everything the catholic church preaches but I'm still a fairly religous person. I go to church most of the time and all. | ||

I don't believe in a "religious" God,but a spiritual God.So,no, my God wouldn't mind in the least. Anway,when you run the two side by side,how many people have died because of steroids,compared to how many have died for their religion? Well this is a hard question. People who use AS are not hurting anyone, or even potentially hurting themselves, unless they are abusing it. Like for instance it is a sin to be drunk, but not a sin to drink, so if you don't abuse it, it is not a sin, you can look at it that way. Or I guess you can look at it this way, if god wanted you to be able to make the gains you make while using AS he would of made mans body do this naturally without AS. I don't know,,, I'm still going to do them. | ||

personally i think if JESUS came down and read thid board, i would definitely sure that he would approve us members simply because he knows that no one is perfect except him, and look what they did to him for being a perfect man.. why do you think that people go to church and beg Jesus for forgiveness when they comit sin? JESUS die because he is a stand up and a perfect person who die with honor. since he knows by being a perfect man he must face death. so to answer your post, JESUS will not judge us or punish us simply because he knows as long as you follow the 10 commendments then he will approve us BB. do i make any sense? | ||

bro obviously the bible does not say anything about drugs. But it does not condone 1. Addiction 2. Nor does it condone your pride being above others or thinking better of yourself than others 3. Nor does it condone envy, jealousy, or hatrid. If you're not doing the bad (in regards to your question of AS) you have less to worry about. Because it does not say Thou shall not use AS or supplements, but it does say what i wrote above. I think more importantly is what kind of person you are and how you live your life, and if you're with him or against him, because there is no in between... | ||

I have a few disagreements here: finallygot-thats like saying that some can get drunk and its not a sin if they carry it well. It cannot be based on a double standard, bc god judges equally. slopain- that are parts of the bible that say not following the laws of the land (US laws) is considered a sin, so then that thinking would be fairly correct (IMO) and you can always argue that people in mex, brazil, etc it is not against the law so why cant I? That would be the test of faith, that we are obedient just bc He said so and not bc it makes sense to us. crash- so then is that true with everything? If god had not wanted us to do/have something he would have just gave it to us? There are limits in this life and that is a fact, and if God sets them himself (genetics) then are we in the position to surpass that? lardlad- everything that God says to do is a commandment, we all have to follow the teachings of the bible, not just the ten commandments. Jesus didnt die bc he was perfect, he died for all of our sins. Ubermass- agreed. Jae- all fat an lazy people arent bad people, how would you think God would judge by our outward appearance? Happyscrappy- without the 'bitch' part, you think? Riskybiz- agreed. kahn- lol yeah and some socks! I hope i am not coming off as judgemental, I mean I use gear but I am not sure if it is right. When I commented, I was just pointing out things that maybe you guys (and me too) should look at. I think that we are all addicted, and 80% said 'just one or two cycles and thats all' and look at us now. It is a powerful drug, and it will be up to each and every one of us to figure it out on our own. I think about it alot, this is the only illegal activity I do and I am a fairly string christian, but I wonder if I am wrong. First of all this kind of question will get people in a heated debate and people will get mad.... Work2bbig--Jesuse Was perfect never sinned.. Yes the Bible wants you to obey the laws of the land but does that mean that we should obey the rule you can't pray in school.. also other countries that say you can't have the Christian relgion does that mean that the people in that land have to obey that law and not read the Bible or worship God??? Anything can be addictive ANYTHING! I just saw an add that says americans watch 26 hours of TV a week that is one full day I think that is an addiction... Another thing in the Bible is Take care of your Temple meaning your Body so if you are using AAS and getting blood and liver work done and are healthy than you are not sinning there(IMO)... Those people that eat tons of fat and do nothing to help their temples will be judged for this.. I think a lot of people see this as sin but that is because they don't understand it like we do..We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God so if this is a Sin I don't think it is are only one...
I have a forgiving God how loves me soo much he sent his only son to die for me.. he is a forgiving God, a loving God, and a patient God I know I have sinned before and will sin again but I know that my God will never leave me or forsake me... I am goin to heaven were I will have a perfect body so why not stive for a perfect body on earth also??? We SIN. God FORGIVES. That is LIFE..

Hell no, he would not approve. I know this because he just told me. He is pissed at all of the churches and if I was a catholic, I would change my association with the catholic sect of Christianity. This is just they have so fucking much money and don't take care of the poor people enough. The priests are too concerned about their heavenly pention. Yea, he would definately not approve. |
