Clarol Excellence works great.
Wash hair, towel dry, don't completely dry.

The box contains two vials.
Pour equal amounts in a cup and mix.
While still wet apply
Leave 20 minutes.
Wash out and use conditioner.

Don't leave it on longer than 20 minutes.
Don't do it twice.
Good luck.

the best way is go into a good salaon and have them do ti - they will get it truly blonde. if you buy any of the over the counter stuff, it will turn your hair orange if you don't have the right kind of hair (you might) - peroxide that you get at the store isn't a high enough percent.
punky bleach kit, if yo uuse both packs and a hair drier is pretty good - and my friend got his really good with something that he got from a beauty supply store.

have fun. and you aren't dyeing it - you are bleaching it - making it devoid of pigment. to dye it is to add pigment, and to do that you either need very blonde hair already, or bleach it first.

DON'T try this yourself. My mother owns a salon and has done hair for 25 years and it took her two days to get mine the right color the first time I had her do mine. Go spend the money to have it done professionally.

Go to a salon. I had solid white hair last summer, I don't mean platinum blonde, but SOLID WHITE AS SNOW. It is worth the money.

Have to agree with everyone on this one. My wife has been a stylist for 13 years, and she makes good money on those that try to do it themselves. Costs more to fix than to have it done right by a professional.

My Mom is a Cosmetogolist as well, I would say go to a salon but if you are hell bent on doing it yourself. Go to Sally's Beauty Supply and ask one of the salespeople there to help you out--that you want to bleach your hair blonde. If your hair is naturally that dark you will need Bleach and you'll want the stuff that lifts it fast so that the damage is minimal.
