does anyone go to burger king during their bulking phase?? they claim each hamburger has 19 grams of protein and 30 carbs so if u have 2 that is a pretty decent meal and i can def put down 3 or 4??? do u think this is good protein and it is good to eat, i am a hardgainer and never have has over 9% in my life..
thanks

Burger King:

Ah memories! I can probably tell you that I was one of the HARDEST gainers out there. Here were my stats (dont laugh) 5'11 @ 145 pounds on a good day! Can you imagine how THIN i was? Lets just say, buying clothes in a large size were like wearing pj's.

I came to the realization that I need to get bigger, not only for my self, but for my self-image (confidence). (ex-broke up with me becuase I was "muscular enough! -see heart broken over FIRST LOVE) In my desperate attempt to get built, and strong I started perhaps the most intense training programing out there. The people in ELITE Fitness would be very proud! (PainKillers to go to bed!)

Anyway, I trained hard, drank protien shakes, and also ate a Burger King quite a bit. Even though a lot of their food is high in fat, I excused it, because I was on my bulking diet. I gained weight, both good and bad. My body started soaring, with my body constantly getting 24+ grams of protien with evvery meal. I felt stronger slowly, and I knew that I could take on the world.

After about a year and a half of training hard, I am glad to say that I have improved my body quite a bit. My entire body frame has changed, from being the skilly little runt to a medium built guy. I have to admit, that I have a bit of fat on me, no six pack yet, but I have cut burger king out, and have consentrated on eating more clean to remove some of this fat.

Hopefully with some time, and some fucken cardio (I hate it!), I can get that most wanted six pack. My stats right now, are 5'11 @ 190lbs. Good Luck hard gainer, you know have my experiences, I hope you get the best from it.

Sounds good to me. If you do it over a long period of time plan on buying new pants. I did buy pants in size 30 and 32 and now I need 34's. I've been bulking for about 3 months and have definitly made strength gains. I saw a pic of me this summer 5'11 at 150, I was a beanpole now I am 30 pounds up from that. I have a bit of fat but am stronger.

It sucks because as soon as I get a more steady income all of it will go to new clothes.

Hi Mr JustinM!! I would recommend that you eat healthy, stop wasting money at golds gym working out on all those obsolete machines and compound exersices and look into the bowflex system!! And as an added plus you can spank your girlfriend with the power rods!!! Hope this helps, my friend!!

When I was in college I ran track - at the end of the season we'd do an event called "The Whopper Mile" - it involved 3 whoppers, and 4 laps. yo uwould run a lap, and then eat a whopper, etc etc.
I've had trouble eating Whoppers anymore since doing those races. (the winners would end up around 6mins and they were usually vegetarians interestingly enough - they broke their veg streak with those)
we also participated in a beer mile, but that didn't make me stop drinking beer... I did get my hand impaled on a fence with that... but that's a whole 'nother story.
