Everyone I work with is ranting and raving about that new martial arts film,
Crouching Crane, or something like that.
They said the action sequences are unbelieveable.
But, I have small children, haven't been in a theater in years...........

If you're in the mood for a Chinese, subtitled action flick (lol), see Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Had a nicely done ephemeral quality to it.

------------------

He was an odd fellow -- kept to himself mostly. He had served his time and nobody noticed him much anymore. On the outside, he looked average -- albeit a bit unkempt. Inside was a different story. Inside, he was a whirling chaos of blackness, deception, confusion and revenge. The world's time was coming. And he had vowed long ago that he would see it through, though it would mark the death of him.

It has been a REALLY bad year for movies, and most of what is out now seems to be crap.
Is it me, or are they all starting to sound alike? A new comedy starring Mel Gibson and/or Helen Hunt and/or Hugh Grant and/or Meg Ryan and/or Nicholas Cage.
It would be nice if Hollywood got some real writers and came up with something original.
And I repeat: Billy Elliott was a wonderful movie, but if all you want is explosions and/or a big-name star, then don't see it.
