If anyone on this board knows how to find someone's IP address, could you please reply to this message. This freak keeps on sending me greeting cards from an email address that is not theres'. If anyone knows anyway i can find out who, or at least where to find information about the person sending me the email i would totally appreciate it, thank you.     | ||

Well, if you could get that person to post on a message board the administrator of that message board can view the IP address. I have a message board. If you could get that person to go over there and post I could give you their IP. That's the only way I can think of. ------------------ | ||

contact the comapny that sends the greeting cards, or the email company. Tell them you've been getting these emails, and your coming to them before it becomes a legal matter. get them to check the i.p. addresses that access that account or send cards your way. If its a greeting card website they will know who the guy/gal is that is sending you these cards. If an email comapny, check which i.p. address that opened account and then contact the account holder, letting him know he needs to change his password. there is no way within the confines of the standard user access of you browser that you can detect an i.p. address opf an email (i think?) hope it helps (if not sorry | ||

Contact the company of the greeting cards. They should be able to either stop the cards from coming or give you some info about the person sending them... Just be tough about it and the company will have to do something...  | ||
