life is only good for a few years... and when you DIE you find out all the answers you asked while alive... i for one am looking forward to it (like socrates). i will find out if god exists, if their is a heaven (or hell)... i am just hoping that IF their is a god, he forgives my bashing of him and understands that i need to KNOW something in order to believe in it.     | ||

Depends on the mood I'm in, but I just take it all in stride. God put me on this earth to accomplish a certain number of things, right now I'm so fasr behind I'll never die. At my funeral though I want a God Father funeral w/ all the people and flowers.

check, if your god only lets people in who believe and have faith in the truest since, then that means all the jews, muslims, budhists, taoists, etc... are all going to hell... doesnt that strike you odd that a loving and caring god would send them to hell basically because of the families they were born into? if thats what god is, then he is a petty petty being. | ||

If you accept the Bible as any authority, it describes death as dreamless sleep. However, it's when Christ/God returns that the believers are resurected to life and the unbelievers are sent to hell for punishment. I know ministers that believe hell isn't so much fire and torture, but instead it's the absence of God. The unbeliever chose to live without God, so they got what they wanted. Simple. | ||

My god is above human comprehension and I don't pretend to know the way he wants me to act. I do my best to do what is right as defined by my core beliefs and experience and trust that any cosmic-gift in the afterlife is a machination beyond my comprehension or petty attempts at manipulation. | ||

check... you say "MY GOD" and that leads me to believe that you have altered your religion some what... like taking out the part that special bill just mentioned and adjusting your beliefs to include some non accepters of jesus into heaven... i dont know, but your god may not like you doing that, you know, CHANGING his word. he is afterall god, and your just a bloated texan who is injured (still injured?) and your changing his word... watch your step, that tree may fall on you. | ||

Absolutely.I have 110% proof!WHOOOOOOOOO!!! After what happened to me last year,i know that there's some kind of afterlife.None of this in the name of religion holier than though rubbish either. There's only one God who is a spiritual God,a superforce if you like. Why do people insist on calling this force their God & their religion.Religion is just manmade bs.It's just a comfort blanket for these people. Anyway enough of all this deep stuff,my gf's just come out of the shower.I have got other deep things to deal with,hehehe. ------------------ | ||

For alot of people they have already reached hell and this is it, for a few,its not! Whatever this life throws at you, blow off the bad and take in the good and you will realize that you have already reached a heaven. LIFT-FUCK-EAT-AND BE HAPPY thats my heaven! | ||

I am Catholic and do not believe that members of other religions will go to hell. i went to a Catholic school and learned this-if you are a good person you will make it to heaven-. I was told that God is Fair and Just, if this is the case then he will not punish people for being raised in the "wrong" religion. The main thing is to love thy neighbor. | ||
