I've been using ECA for the last two months. I came off of it last Sunday. The scale said I weighed 209 that morning. Today, 8 days later, I weighed myself and the scale say 216. 7 pounds in barely a week? What gives? Do you think this is water weight or what? I've been eating more (started a short bulking cycle) but definately not 3500 over maintenance a day. However, unless it is 90% water weight I am kind of pissed off. Does ECA keep you THAT dehydrated?

Oh yeah one other switch I made last week was from plain creatine monohydrate to Phosphagen. Could the Phosphagen plus the lack of ECA make me hold all that water?

I just want to make sure my thyroid isn't like shut off and making my body store everything as fat. Can ECA do that?

Thanks for the help!

Assuming you've come off something of a 'cutting' phase and are entering 'bulking' phase, you have nothing to worry about. Yes, ECA is a diurteic so you're almost certainly holding more water now. But I'll bet you're also eating a few more carbs, and carbs will alos make you retain more water. & pounds is nothing to worry about in that sitch. In other words, it probably IS 90% water.
