There's so many conflicting views in the Atkins Diet thread, that I don't know who to trust.

I'm pretty lean, but I want to get MAXIMUM RESULTS out of these last 13 days before I go home. I know it's not long, but how can I maximise my fat loss?

Should I try a ketogenic diet? Just for the 13 days? Or should I try something else? What about cardio? Would more be better? I could do cardio 3 times a day if you think that would help.

Please.... I'm running out of time. Everyone's advice is welcome.

13 days.... I know I can't expect very susbstantial fat loss in that short time, butI want to get as ripped as I can. What would you do?

333, you need to chill. relax, and then focus. Aerobics/cardio is important no matter if you do keto or 'normal' diets.
Now, do cardio 6 DAYS a week, one time in the morning on empty stommach 'bout 30-45 mins. And if you lift weights, once again after workout-if you don't do it minimum 2 hours after a meal(preferrably the last one in the day.
WARNING!! If you are not used at all to perform cardio sessions, you should NOT start with 6 days a week, this will put to much stress on your cardio system. This is why, amungst other things, that your'e bassically STARTING TO LATE BRO. Sorry, but this is the way it is. Actually, in a mere 13 days, you can't expect miracles.

MICHLDAV is right. Just relax and commit to a plan. There's a lot of conflicting opinions on a ketogenic diet because there's not a lot of scientific research on it but by doing a search on the web, you will see a lot of people have had success on it. The only way you will lose weight is by creating a caloric deficit. This can be done by reducing calories or increasing energy expenditure by working out or a combination of both. If you do not want to do a ketogenic diet, then reduce your caloric intake and do 30-40 minutes of aerobics first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and lift weights and do aerobics in the evening. Time your carb consumption after you lift weights and eat little or no carbs all day before you lift.

I haven't left anything too late. I've been dieting for about 11 weeks so far.

I was just asking how I could make the most of the last 13 days.... which is now 11 days.

Hey 133, if you still care, go to www.t-mag.com and type Fat fast on the search in the previous issues section. This diet should be what you're looking for.

Hell yes, the Fat Fast Diet should shock your body into losing those last few pounds of fat. It's extreme version of a ketogenic diet. If that doesn't do it, you're out of luck.
