Does anyone know if the diodothyronine contained in Lipokinetix causes the shutdown of natural thyroid production?

I know that prescription thyroid medication and the tiratricol contained in Syntrax's recently banned Triax can cause permanent thyroid shutdown.

I have a bottle of Lipokinetix but am hesitant to begin taking it until I am certain that no permanent thyroid damage will occur. If any biochemists or MD's are familiar with diodothyronine please post.

Thanks

DIT can cause suppression of TSH, but it has been shown to be less than that caused by T3 which is less than that caused by Triax. There should be no DAMAGE caused to the thyroid, simply a reduction in output during use. There will be those with the horror stories of people taking T3 and permanently shutting down their thyroid gland, but I believe this to be myth. I have spoken with to many people who have used T3 successfully with no permanent suppression, myself included.

Well I don't have any expirence with T3, but I took Tri-Cuts by Sci Fit which (I think) has diodothyronine and/or tiratricol in it. I expirienced great results from this product with a steady reagulation of my thryiod levels that went back to normal when coming off.

I know this product has recently been removed from the market but I don't know if it was diodothyronine and/or tiratricol which caused it to be banned. Anyhow...thats to bad cause it's a great product that cause no side effects (at least yet) on me.
