I figured this would be the most appropos place to post this...

I am starting to get hair on my back and chest, and its really starting to bug me. I stupidly shaved once and it, obviously, grew back in a larger quantity. What do y'all do to keep this in check? Anyone get laser done??

I have heard that laser works well, but costly. Have you ever heard of Nads (not those things down there j/k) This chick from Austrailia invented the stuff and named it after her daughter, can you imagine naming your daughter Nad. It's like waxing but better clean up. I used it on my arms and it worked fine but others have used it and got ingrown hairs. My brother was visiting and he said there was course hair growing from a scar on his back and I Nads'ed it and it worked. So I guess that would be my suggestion. You can buy it at any drug store/walmart/kmart etc...

Slick, i have a secret stash of Nads that i use in the shower to remove all my ass hair. so if the drains clogged you'll know i've been at it again.

What the hell is the evolutionary purpose of ass-hair anyway? God messed up on that one.

Yes, I had my chest & abs lasered & the back of my neck. I used to get my chest & stomach waxed every month, but I'd break out for a few days and I'd get ingrown hairs. The only problem is that it's very painful -- much worse than getting waxed because the process lasts much longer. You can get a topical painkiller, emla, but it's not very effective. However, I'm very happy with the results.

Is laser permanent removal? What about electrolysis?

I don't think anyone is sure how long laser hair removal lasts. They guarantee 10 years at the place I go. Electrolysis is definitely permanent, but it would be much more expensive and time-consuming because they do every hair individually. It's really designed for women who want their mustache removed, that sort of thing.
