Excerpt: I have decided to start another log. Over the past year or so I have fallen off and gotten back on the fitness bandwagon more times than I can count! I'm actually in a good place right now, new townhouse, a job I enjoy (well, I don't mind going at least, lol!), and I can FINALLY afford a gym membership! WOO HOO! Last Friday I signed up for a year membership at the Y, and I am so happy to be back in a real gym! So, here goes... I'm 5'6", 24 years old, and as of today 127.2 pounds. So

    Hang in there W2!!!! Take out all your frustrations in the gym if you're going today....


    Oh and a little note: No fat after a workout, just protein + carbs.....yesterday you had ANPB PWO....

    I won't be able to make it to the gym today or tomorrow. It will be okay though! I'll be able to start fresh on Sunday!

    Thanks for the no fat after workout tip! I had only thought of the fat before bed thing, so that's why I added it in there. I'll wait a couple hours PWO before eating my ANPB.

    I was REALLY late for work today, so I grabbed this on my way out the door.

    I was REALLY late for work today, so I grabbed this on my way out the door.

    We had a change of plans. We aren't going out of town until today (Saturday), so we did our usual pizza and beer Friday night at a local pizzeria/bar. I need to think of a way to still have a social life without drinking so much on the weekends!

    6:30 - 2 slices of thin crust cheese pizza
    6 Coors Light

    Calories: 1723
    Carbs: 148
    Fat: 39
    Protein: 85

    Now, my goal for Saturday is to portion control, portion control, and portion control! I know that there will be nothing healthy to eat at this "reunion" (gotta love country folk lol), and I know the food will be delish. Hopefully I won't go too overboard with the calories. Gah, I'm not looking forward to this. I might as well make the best of it, though.

    Alright! The weekend is over!! I didn't keep my notebook with me, so I'm not sure how bad my cals were. I ended up eating two plates of food the day we were gone(just one for lunch and one for dinner), and I tried to fill it up with fresh vegetables and green beans, so I wouldn't eat too many dumplings or hashbrown casserole. Other than the drinks flowing like wine, I think I did okay. We had a fantastic time! I'm ready to get back on track, though.

    This week I'm going to try to stay close to 40/30/30 every day. I am also thinking about doing HIIT in the evenings. Is there anything else I should be doing?

    One of our friends is leaving for Iraq soon, and he wants to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday. Normally I would just not go, but I hate to say no since he is going away. Any tips for not eating like a complete lard ass there?

    no problem, I usually panic too before I have to go somewhere to eat!

    I know the feeling all too well! I just mini-panicked because there is a birthday in the office and I was offered chocolate chocolate chip cake with chocolate icing. It smelled so goooooooood.
