Excerpt: What are your thoughts on what to eat on rest days? I think that due to the damage and stress from the previous training day, I should eat my way to recovery so on rest days, I go a few hundred calories over training days focusing on a 40/40/20 What do you do?

    What are your thoughts on what to eat on rest days? I think that due to the damage and stress from the previous training day, I should eat my way to recovery so on rest days, I go a few hundred calories over training days focusing on a 40/40/20

    listen to me closely on this. you don't recover from food. that is the biggest pile of bro science we see spouted all over the place. you recover from REST!

    eating a bunch of food on your rest days will not speed up reocvery, it will actually inhibit it. your body uses up most of its energy digesting food that it could be using to repair the damage you did. so this bro science is the opposite

    Eat based on your expenditure for the day and requirements. If you srent training you require less than days you do train
