    Is weight training bad for women?

    Hi. I am a 30-year old lady. I work-out every day. However, I only do cardio and avoid weights. I have heard that women should avoid weight training as it could cause too much muscle gain.     those women who look like men are taking PED's and/or have sensational genetics to build muscle

    weight training builds muscle conditioning and strong bones. so it does have benefits for females even if you are just a weekend warrior

    Not really. I've seen women doing weight-training but they're not as bulky as female bodybuilders.

    It’s BS you wont look like a bodybuilder from lifting weights. It’s a very unrealistic expectation honestly.

    I seriously doubt you will gain too much muscle. It's not as easy as you think.

    Finally, all my doubts about weight training are cleared now. I have started my workout in GYM without any fear in my mind.
