pushups everyday

I'm a female who wants to strengthen my chest and upper body. do you think that pushups everyday is a good idea for me or should i stick to the normal gym grind to build a strong chest? I used to weight train in high school but stopped doing it now in my 20's. I'm almost 30 and i am actually weaker than i was before.
 
it depends. if you just do some pushups everyday that is one thing. but if you do pushups everyday then slam your shoulders twice a week in the gym then expect to rip up your rotator cuff in no time. the shoulders are extremely sensitive and don't need much action to get worked.
 
it won’t hurt but i don’t find it necessary if you’re going hard enough at the gym
