They said here they were still opening novembers mail for passports and the library is literally passing out books for people in line!

They always expire after 5 years you have to go through the process over again every 5 years. Mine is suppose to be mailed out today hopefully have it some time next week.

I thought that was just for 2 week service?

Dunno, may very have changed since I renewed.

It's alway easier if you already have one and just need a renewal.

It might be diffrent in the US they always make things hard for us Canuks. British passports kick ass only renew it once every 10 years.

Nah, very true. Unless you have a plane ticket to prove that you are travelling somewhere in the near future, they won't do anything for you. I hate the entire process.
