No impact cardio?

Hey guys, in the past two months or so my knees have really started giving me pain when doing certain activities. I'm making an appointment to get them checked out soon, but are there any non leg-intensive forms of cardio that I could do in the meantime? I'm about to go to the gym, so im going to try cycling and see if the no-impact will help avoid the pain, but if it doesnt i might need some ideas. Thanks.

rowing is a good one

but there is nothing wrong with just taking a break entirely. that will actually help your body focus on repair. there is still ridiculous fear from many guys where they are scared to take a break. i used to be the same way. but now i know it is OKAY to take a break. you actually will benefit long term more by doing this so your body can rest. any thing you lose will be made up in no time once you come back healthy

 • Get moving with planks.
 • Practice your jabs and hooks.
 • Turn up the intensity on the elliptical.
 • Clip into a stationary bike
 • Swim some laps
