I need a few ?'s answered regarding fats.....everyone on here recommends Natural Peanut Butter - which is considered a Unsaturated Fat....according to a book I have health experts recommend that 2/3's of your fat intake should come from Polysaturated Fats (which includes almonds, pecans, fish, walnuts, etc.)

I compared 2 T. of Smuckers Nat. P.butter w/ 1 oz. of pecans

pecans - 200 cal., 3 p, 4 car, 20 fat (2 saturated fats)
peanut butter - 200 cal., 7 p, 7 car, 16 fat (2 saturated)

there's not that much difference in the numbers...anyone care to explain this to me:confused: Is it ok for me to switch up b/t pecans, p.butter, walnuts???

If you are looking for poly unsaturated fatty acids (or EFAs or omega 3s) you should take, in order :

Flax seed oil
Fish oil
Hemp oil
Canola oil
Walnut oil
Nut oil
...
...
Walnut
Peanut butter
Pecan/nuts/...

Something else I found intersting:

1/2 cup of BOILED Peanuts equals 7 fat grams and 102 cals.,62% of fat calories.

Canola Oil: 7% Sat. fat 35% Polyunsaturated 58% Mono Almond Oil: 8% Sat.fat 19% Polyunsat., 73% Mono
Safflower : 9% Sat.fat 78% Polyunsat., 13% Mono
Walnut Oil :14% Sat.fat 67% Polyunsat., 19% Mono
Peanut Oil :18% Sat.fat 33% Polyunsat., 49% Mono

Omega- 3 Polyunsaturated fats are found primarily in certain fish and Omega-6 polyunsaturated fats are found mainly in nuts, oil from plants, seeds and soybeans.
