HCG for fat loss

Hi bros, my wife is looking to lose bf taking hcg, I was wondering if HCG is really able to induce fat loss,
some guys I know at the gym told me it's bull shit, but she is a hard headed, I'm worried about side effects that's all, not so much about wasting money, thanks for any extra info.

So I looked this up... it's too too funny. They want you to just ingest 500 kcals a day. It doesn't matter what drug you take you're gonna lose weight.

I am a pretty open minded person for the most part but whoever wrote the HCG diet is an absolute moron.

It's probably the worst diet you could possibly follow.
