Gym Time

Weight training takes 3 to 3.5 hours a week, including all the breaks for water, between sets, waiting to use equipment etc. I've learned that when all the racks are taken NOT to use the platform for squats as this will earn me death glares from the OL people :).

Karate is 6 hours, but it's in the nature of it to take 2 hours, due to needing 20mins for warmup and stretch, stretching still necessary when you kick your legs up high etc, going through kata, individual techniques and so on.

If I didn't do karate I'd do 45 mins of cardio 3 times a week. Then there is the time it takes to change and shower etc, get to and from the gym.

So the total time for gym activities is about 15 hours a week. Holy shit, no wonder my husband is complaining. I'm not what you'd call an advanced lifter though.
