Foods to avoid completely?

No.

You can eat whatever you want... with moderation and balance.

I have the opinion that if you adopt extremist attitudes in the diet and totally remove something that you really enjoy eating, I believe it will be easier for you to develop some eating disorder.
 
if you are trying to lose weight refined sugars, cereals, and flour are your enemy. meat sources that isn't hormone and natural is your enemy too..

also artificial sweeteners do spike insulin sorry. that means diet soda is a no no

what you eat matters, also how often you eat. snacking is a big problem, how often do you go to your fridge, freezer or pantry and pull something out to snack on? eat 2-3 healthy modest meals a day with no snacking in between.

As women are there certain foods we should avoid completely ?

I dislike this 'as a woman thing'. You're the same as a man genetically speaking. For which my reply would be: junk food.
 
I generally don't recommend consuming soy, wheat or dairy. Those 3 foods are very inflammatory in the human body.
