Flexibility training

people who do a lot of yoga might seem leaner but that is because they live healthy lifestyles already plus they are reducing cortisol

if your cortisol is high, you can't lose weight

cortisol and insulin are the 2 things that you need to get under control. it isn't just how much you eat, it is when you eat and what food you eat.

By working on my flexibility will it also help me lose weight if I have a healthy diet?
No, eating healthy is not enough.

If you want to lose weight you need a hypocaloric diet, that is, you need to ingest less energy than you spend.

Only the diet will produce results, but if you do physical activities, you will potentiate your diet by increasing your energy expenditure.

So... If you want to lose weight, eat less and exercise more.

Flexibility training will not make you loose weight BUT that's not to say you shouldn't do it. It'll improve your fitness.

There is a lot more to health then just a low body fat percentage.
