What are some different forms of exercise people are doing these days that you find most enjoyable and isnt very mundane. What do you recommend a beginner try ?
 
Training methods for which goal?

I consider my training extremely enjoyable. I train to increase my strength and add to my total.

Others train to increase muscle volume, others to endurance. Each goal, each sport has a different training method.

Tell me... Which exercises are very mundane?
 
I recommend alternating between strength days and hypertrophy days. Your physique stays the most balanced that way

It's also a nice change to alternate between heavy weights and high reps
