Diets effect periods?

Welcome to the EliteFitness.com Bodybuilding Site! Please join this discussion about Diets effect periods? within the Women's Fitness (Female Bodybuilding and Training) category.

Excerpt: I've been eating paleo (mostly - still on dairy) for about two weeks now. My period is 5 days late (not pregnant). My period is never regular but it's usually only off by a day or two. As it stands I don't even have a hint of PMS symptoms yet. Is this typical? Or at least, not unusual?

    Re: Diets effect periods?

    define what paleo means.

the true paleo diet is fantastic and I 100% support it

the paleo diet these morons on social media push is not really paleo. and i know people who follow 'paleo diet' who drink wine, protein shakes and eat chikFilA. because i'm sure a million years ago cavemen sat around ferminting grape juice, milking cows and turning that into protein powder, and were smart enough to process refined peanut oil.
