Have you ladies started any of this MMA training? One of my collegues has been doing it for a few months and has dropped significant amounts of weight. I am thinking about dropping the weights and getting involved in some MMA classes. Is that a good idea? I am 35 years old.

if you are able to burn a lot of calories and love doing it then go for it.

the nice thing about sports is that you are having fun and not even realizing you are exercising. that is way better than jogging on a boring ass treadmill or doing a stationary bike yawn

ANY form of activity is great. I personally am a lover and not a fighter but I have a lot of clients who find regular cardio boring. For them, I recommend doing fitness classes, swimming, dance classes, MMA classes etc.

Mix it up. Keep it interesting.
