Excerpt: Is anyone else here trying to lose baby weight? My little girl is almost 11 months old but I am still carrying a ton of poundage from being pregnant. Started working out in the middle of January so slowly it is going down, but finding it a lot more difficult than when I have lost weight in the past, pre-pregnancy.     Is anyone else here trying to lose baby weight? My little girl is almost 11 months old but I am still carrying a ton of poundage from being pregnant. Started working out in the middle of January so slowly it is going down, but finding it a lot more difficult than when I have lost weight in the past, pre-pregnancy. Trying to focus on how I feel and getting stronger, and not worry so much about the number on the scales, but it is hard. Anyone in the same boat? Or was in the same boat but then escaped the boat and swam to the healthy fit mama shore?

    It's definitely not an easy task, as your body going to be more inclined to keep reserves. Be patient and stick with it. If you keep to a balanced and clean diet as well as a good training regimen, you will reach your goals with time.

    this is exactly where homeostasis pays off. you were bigger for that time you were pregnant, but before then you were much leaner right? so the body will adjust back. start eating better and good things will happen
