Advanced age, osteoporosis and exercise - woman

Is it ok and safe to do mild exercise for a womanwith advanced age? My mother is 57 years old, and she is having someosteoporosis issues already. I am trying to get her to trainregularly – do warm up exercises, some stretching, and so on. Nodeadlifts or bench presses )) She thinks that could be an issue withher osteoporosis. Do you think it is alright?

It will definitely be very beneficial for her, especially if she will also do some exercises for those with osteoporosis. If the workouts are not intense, then her muscles will stretch a bit, and it will activate blood circulation, which is also good. Age is not a problem for training, and with osteoporosis it is on the contrary good to do mild training.

What supplements of medicines she could take to remedy this problem? Want something effective...

Something Joe Weider reported on years ago was a study on bone density and health in US senior citizens living in a 50+ community. They did 3 x a week of 20-40 minutes low level exercises holding 2lb dumbbells and their numbers went up in a good way.

So exercises AND supplements is the way to go.
