Zercher VS Squat

Lately my knees and back have been bothering me BIGTIME.....not sure why, but they are.....I got Legs today and I'm using the 5x5 method.....could I toss is 5x5 of Zerchers instead of squats? Any benefit? What would my routine look like? Mucho Karma
 
hell yeah give them a go. i like them a lot better than front squats. thats how they came about. they will fry your back and legs, but i'll warn you they will do a number on your abs too. be ready to be sore. i hope this goes well for you.

well for Zerchers are a differnt placement of the bar, the bar rests under the elbows........alot of wrestlers and some pit fighters do these.....IMO ~~~~NO~~~~ need to do these for olympic lifters, bodybuilders, and powerlifters.......really no need unless u are trying to improve balance bro just go lite on sqauts and IMPROVE YOUR FORM .,.......if sqaut done right it shoundnt hurt the back and knees....
