work out for strength

Hi guys, my question is besides bench pressing what other work out is good for strength in general, I have lost of strength in my arms but legs are weak , I can't even squat heavy, thank you.
 
Bench pressing is only good for chest and to some degree upper body pushing strength.

Of course no one, or very, very few, are able to be strong from the get go. So if you can squat light now just work on adding a few lbs here and there month in, month out and slowly but surely you'll get stronger.
 
Are you saying that bench presses is all you do? Then you can do virtually anything to get stronger.....deadlifts are a nice universal exercise that will make your entire body work.
 
The 3 best lifts to base your workouts around are
1. squat
2. deadlift
3. bench press

Those 3 exercises give you the most bang for your buck and train multiple muscle groups at once.
 
I would focus on the compound lifts and do something like a Stronglifts 5x5 program. You gradually increase weight with that.
