Which will help me lose weight faster?

Sprints are in my opinion the fastest way to burn fat and lose weight. High intensity work will always give you more benefits physically so get to your local track and run some sprints!
 
Either one is fine. Don't forget diet. You need to be in a caloric deficit to lose fat regardless of how much you run. Personally though I prefer long distance at a slower pace. Just more enjoyable for me.
 
I would do both. Perform high intensity interval training. That's the most effective way to burn body fat.

Alternate 1 minute of all out sprinting with 1 minute of walking.
