of course...doms pain should be a "good" pain. but i think it is hard to give yourself a "bad" doms pain if you have been training properly, i.e., not overtraining and underrecovering.

today the pain is residing with a little tightness in the very back of my hams. too bad i have to wait until tomorrow for the university gym to be open!
