Where to go from here?

Hey guys,
So background I am 19 years old, 5'6" 153 pounds. My long term end goal is to compete in men's physique. I have wrestled all my life so I have been cutting weight and never had a chance to focus solely on my physique. My lifting has always been geared toward relative strength as I always wanted to get stronger without adding size. I recently decided to stop wrestling following competing in it my freshman year in college. This allows me to solely focus on my physique. With the pictures in mind, a basic where to go from here would be greatly appreciated as I never trained solely in a bodybuilding manner, always strength training.

Thanks! 2774faf1437a327ce24d868b4f8dd69e94bb5137_1_690x387.jpgbd40881ede5fa48bb1ecbdf17a0f018135ef3584_1_690x387.jpg6ba74dfd958e91aacf5e8612a62f98168020f904_1_690x387.jpg4eef39540cad6e71e458b5fdee4a5a29aa1b6bdc_1_690x387.jpge30c6b6ee1eae58a623937c448b6a17d0ff45532_1_690x387.jpg2ff1ea100b3806ce544865a90bfa95b6541daa4c_1_690x387.jpg324ab16593fd99455555532f99662cbdfc8d071f_1_690x387.jpg85b2fc424f16101c855e10bc9ba336902ad7e9af_1_690x387.jpg011c16ba44b79482429036dd43133db62b625495_1_690x387.jpg

you have a very good base, don't touch steroids until you are older.. don't listen to your idiot friends on stuff like this

competing is a great goal, but you are only 19. why not train to improve yourself instead of showing off to others? i'm not a big fan of competing at all because the amount of drug use is crazy and just not something someone your age needs yet

a simple workout program is 5X5, focusing on the main compound lifts. or doing a 3 day split of push/pull/legs.

Ok, thank you so much for the help! What should I be doing in terms of my nutrition. Do you think I should cut some more or am in a good position to begin a lean gaining phase?

You look to be pretty lean with some room to grow. I would focus on eating very clean but in a caloric surplus. I would start adding some more muscle at this point.

You have a really good base. I would estimate your body fat percentage to be about 10%. You can put on a lot of quality muscle while staying lean with carb cycling.

That whole bulk/cut thing is a very old school way of thinking and a sure way to get fat. Building muscle is a slow process. Over eating will just make you fat.

It's kind of like filing up your car's gas tank. It can only hold so much fuel. Any extra is just going to pour over.

Carb cycling makes a lot of sense. Both scientifically and in a real world sense. No one will question the fact that carbs are anabolic. The problem with carbs is that too much of them will simply get you fat.

By carb cycling, you get the best of everything. The low carb days are fat loss focused and re-sythnesis muscle insulin sensitivity and the high carb days are very anabolic and replenish depleted glycogen levels.

I explain how to set up a carb cycling diet and have a full sample meal plan in this article here -> http://www.evolutionary.org/forums/supplements/carb-cycling-exposed-trevor-44776.html

obviously at your age it will be hard to eat right.

my advice is whole foods you will never go wrong

lean meats only, stay away from processed or frozen. limit red meat to grassfed once a week
pastured eggs
fruits
veggies
raw oats
nuts
european cheese, avoid american

this is a good balanced diet

when you go to the grocery store look at the fat people and their carts, then compare that to the people in shape who look like they just came from the gym. that will tell you what to eat right there
